A group of devotees gathered together at Glen Lodge on the eve of All Saints Day for kirtan, readings and chantings to mark (what would have been) Swamiji’s 87th birthday on 2 November.
‘Devotees are devotees, that’s why you meet for kirtan, it’s a clapping hand of bliss; all should spark
like that, a little dome of OM, and bliss escaping, the fragrance, the perfume, the God inside, “in the
palm of your hand,” as Sarada Devi said.‘ Swamiji’s discourse on 9 November 1996 which JaiNarain read at the gathering and is available via the link.
Beautiful music by Tryambaka, Yogini and Sanjana with Sarasvati playing the drum. Music continued on Sunday….
